Eric's been doing a lot of racing since our last update in May, so we'll try to catch up. While his focus has been on the midget he owns and operates, he's also been lucky enough to drive a Legend car from time to time thanks to Griffin McGrath and the Legends.Direct team.
It was a promising start in June when Eric earned a career best run in the midget with a 4th place feature finish at Beaver Dam Raceway. He lead half of the race too. This was the last bright spot in June, as the car developed a miss during the race and it carried over for weeks. He then had three disappointing runs at Angell Park during the rest of the month.
July was a light month for the Badger Midgets with two races getting rained out. Finally on July 28 we got to pull the #68 out again for the Racers Reunion/Badger Hall of Fame race at Angell Park. After finishing last in his heat, Eric made it exciting in the B-Main, taking the last transfer spot on the last lap.
In the A-Main he started 22nd/last in the field. He was patient throughout the race, avoiding some wrecks and picking off some cars. He ended up 11th, just missing the "Hard Charger Award." He finds himself in 12th place in Badger points to date.
During the summer to this point in the Legends Direct car he's been pretty solid, with his best run being 3rd. He's raced the Legend at Maquoketa and Vinton in Iowa and Beaver Dam.
Thanks to Brandon Waelti in helping us get the car out on Beaver Dam Raceway prior to a race day, to try and figure out the issue with the midget. The issues appears to have resolved itself.

We are taking the first weekend of August off and be back in action on Sunday, August 11 at Angell Park Speedway.
